The biggest part is to be able to educate the team and the stakeholders about the values of running them (focus more on outcome and not output).

There are many ways to do it. Ultimately, it’s the responsibility of the designer to own that part and drive the conversations. Hence, I disagree with your statement that this collaborative process is expensive.

Jake Knapp also stated that Design Sprint should be adjusted according to each organisation needs and structures. We are using and running Design Sprint 2.0 (not Google’s version).
